Meet the current officers of Equality Springfield.

Rick Incorvati, President    

Rick Incorvati is a founding member of Equality Springfield, serves on the Board of Equality Ohio, and is an advisor for Springfield's Youth First group for area teens. His views on LGBT civil rights have appeared in the Springfield News Sun, and he received ProgressOhio's 2011 Barbara Klass Sokol Award for progressive activism.  His term as President is up in 2016.

Nancy Blackburn, Vice President

Nancy Blackburn is a Springfield resident, a mother of two daughters, and Assistant Campus Director at Park University at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She has also been active in the Clark County Democratic Party and serves as President of the Democratic Women's Issues Group (the WIGs). Her current term as Vice President is up in 2016..

Lisa Beekman, Secretary

Lisa Beekman has been a Springfield resident all her life. She is the mother of three sons, the youngest of whom is gay. After seeing Rick Incorvati's July 2010 editorial in the Springfield News Sun, she wrote to the paper concerning her own experiences.  What began as a letter to the editor, has since become her mission as an advocate for LGBT people. She is a founding member of Equality Springfield and serves as an advisor for Springfield Youth First.  Lisa's term as Secretary is over in 2016.

Cat Pennington, Treasurer

Cat Pennington is a life-long resident of Springfield where she currently works and resides.  She joined Equality Springfield in the spring of 2010 and has been a staunch advocate for LGBT teens in her work with Youth First Springfield where she serves as an advisor and as a fundraiser.  Cat's term as treasurer is up in 2016.
